Hebe ‘Kirkii’ is a large, strongly growing, erect, evergreen shrub that reaches 6.5 ft (2 m). The leaves are glossy green, spear-shaped, about 1–1.6 in (2.5–4 cm) long. It has long, slender spikes of white flowers in early summer. A hebe hardy in the UK.

It is thought to be a natural hybrid between Hebe salicifolia and Hebe rakaiensis, and was discovered in 1868, near the upper Rangitata River, Canterbury, South Island, New Zealand. Named after Thomas Kirk (1828–1893), who botanised throughout New Zealand and wrote a number of books on the flora.
